Job Title: Lumber Millwright / Fleet Mechanic
Pay: $28–$32 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday (Possible Saturdays)

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Lumber Millwright / Fleet Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mill equipment as well as servicing company fleet vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on lumber mill equipment and machinery

• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues

• Maintain and repair fleet vehicles, forklifts, loaders, and other heavy equipment

• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance

• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Millwright, Diesel Mechanic, or Heavy Equipment Mechanic preferred

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

• Experience working in a lumber mill, industrial, or heavy equipment environment is a plus

• Ability to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently

• Welding and fabrication experience is helpful but not required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Schedule:

• Monday–Friday

• Possible Saturdays depending on production needs

Compensation & Benefits:

• $28–$32 per hour (depending on experience)
