Inventory and Scanner

Located in Chicago, IL

Salary: $18hr

Inventory & Scanner Associate

Location: Near 95th and Stony Island 
Pay Rate: $18 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

 

Key Responsibilities

• Scan inbound and outbound products into the warehouse management system.

• Maintain 100% inventory accuracy by properly recording product locations.

• Monitor and manage paperwork related to inbound and outbound shipments.

• Transmit all required documentation and information to the office.

• Assist with cycle counting and physical inventory audits.

• Complete inbound damage logs for railcars and trailers and report damages per customer requirements.

• Participate in the Red Tag Program for damaged or questionable inventory.

• Monitor inventory locations and resolve discrepancies immediately.

• Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure accurate documentation flow.

• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by management.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

• Sit for extended periods and occasionally stand or walk.

• Reach overhead, grasp, handle, and operate equipment.

• Use office equipment such as computers, phones, fax machines, and copy machines.

• Close vision required for scanning and document processing.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a warehouse environment near moving mechanical equipment.

• Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and outdoor weather conditions.

• Potential exposure to electrical equipment and vibration.

• Noise levels may be loud in certain areas of the warehouse.
