President Job Summary:

Kuyper College - a Christ-centered institution of higher education is seeking a visionary and mission-driven leader to serve as their next President. The President serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the college, providing spiritual, academic, financial, and strategic leadership to advance Kuyper’s mission of forming lifelong learners for purposeful lives of work and service to God and neighbor.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the President oversees all college operations, including academic programs, financial stewardship, organizational leadership, and community engagement. This leader will champion Kuyper’s Christian and Reformed identity, cultivate strong relationships with students, faculty, alumni, donors, and community partners, and guide the institution toward long-term sustainability and growth.

President Responsibilities:

• Provide overall executive leadership and strategic direction for the College in alignment with its mission, vision, and Christian values
• Serve as the primary liaison between the College and the Board of Trustees, supporting board governance and implementing board policies
• Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that strengthen academic excellence, enrollment growth, and institutional sustainability
• Oversee all operational areas including academic affairs, student services, finance, advancement, and administrative functions
• Ensure the integration of the College’s mission and Christian identity into daily operations, culture, and programs
• Promote spiritual formation and leadership development across the campus community
• Support advancement and development efforts through donor engagement, fundraising initiatives, and community partnerships
• Develop and manage annual budgets in partnership with leadership while ensuring responsible stewardship of institutional resources
• Build strong relationships with alumni, donors, faculty, students, and external partners while serving as an ambassador for the College
• Lead and develop senior leadership team members while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and board policies
• Promote a positive public presence for Kuyper College within the broader higher education and faith communities

Schedule & Pay

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday on site

Pay: Competitive, based on experience

President Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree (PhD, EdD, or equivalent) preferred, or a combination of advanced education and significant leadership experience
• Minimum five years of senior leadership experience in higher education or a related mission-driven organization
• Demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and alignment with the mission, values, and faith statements of Kuyper College
• Proven ability to lead strategic planning, organizational development, and academic advancement initiatives
• Strong financial and operational leadership with experience overseeing budgets and institutional resources
• Exceptional communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams while fostering a collaborative and mission-driven culture
• Experience engaging donors, community partners, and external stakeholders to support institutional growth
