Welder

Located in Menomonee Falls, WI

Salary: $20 - $28/hr

1st shift - Welder needed in Menonomee Falls, pay starts at $20 - $28/hr. (based on experience)

 

Duties:

• Able to properly setup the machine per job/customer requirements
• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.
• Check grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using micrometers, calipers, and precision measuring instruments.
• Determine required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
• Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.
• Prepare all material surfaces to be welded, ensuring that there is no loose or thick scale, slag, rust, moisture, grease, or other foreign matter.

Qualifications:

• Must be organized, detail oriented and dependable.
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have extensive welding experience.
• Must be able to read complex blue prints.
• Must have own tools. (Preferred but not required) 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a semi regular basis.
• Must have safety shoes.
