Courier Drivers - Mid Day Shift and Weekend/On Call Shift

Located in Mount Vernon, WA

Salary: $18.00 and $19.00

Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon is partnering with a healthcare organization specializing in a broad portfolio of anatomic pathology services and diagnostic tests. To support their growing logistics needs, we are recruiting dependable Courier Drivers to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the road, values precision, and understands the importance of timely specimen transport in the healthcare environment.

What you get to do:

• Pick up and deliver medical specimens, lab supplies, and paperwork according to scheduled routes and on-demand requests.
• Follow strict chain-of-custody protocols to ensure specimen integrity and compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Use company-provided technology to log pickups, deliveries, and route progress in real time.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and basic care of assigned company vehicle.
• Communicate professionally with clinic staff, patients, and internal team members.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE and safe driving practices.
• Report delays, vehicle issues, or any incidents promptly to supervisors.
• Support logistics needs outside of routine routes when required (special pickups, supply restocking, etc.)

What you need to be successful:

• Able to pass a motor vehicle record review with no more than three minor violations/accidents in the past three years and no major violations in the past five years

Pay:

• $18.00 for Mid-Day Shift
• $19.00 Weekend/On-Call Shift

Schedule:

• Mid-Day Shift; Monday through Friday from 10:00AM to 6:30PM
• Weekend/On-Call Shift; Saturday and Sunday, On-call during the week from 8:00AM to 6:30PM
