Our client is the world’s leading manufacturer of recycled rubber products and we are currently hiring for a Maintenance Millwright in Brantford. If you are a licensed Maintenance Millwright that is currently looking for their next career, we want to hear from you!

Here is What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for troubleshooting and repairs of machinery to minimize downtime
• Perform regular maintenance on machinery as per PM program and record any abnormal conditions or failures
• Record and document time, work order completion information and parts usage on CMMS work order system
• Create work orders and assist in the planning of jobs and projects, order parts and report parts usage and inventory levels
• All work performed and completed may require skills such as electrical troubleshooting, power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, plumbing, welding, fabrication and other areas as needed
• Must practice good communication skills with Maintenance Team Members, Production Supervisors and Management
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Maintain clear and concise documentation
• Be a part of the performance review process
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Are you Qualified?

• Previous experience as a millwright (3+ years) in a manufacturing setting
• Must hold a current 433A Millwright ticket
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong decision making, problem solving, troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent technical skills, mechanical aptitude and ability
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet desadlines
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years in a manufacturing setting
• Team player who contributes to a positive environment and able to work alone
• 433A Millwright ticket

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Use of hand and power tools
• Use of hands in a repetitive motion
• Lifting up to and including 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, crouch, twist, push and pull
• Standing for long periods of time
• Working in a loud manufacturing environment
