Hours: Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:00pm
Pay: $26.00/HR
Duties:
Safely and efficiently operate overhead cranes using appropriate cables or straps based on load requirements.
Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility.
Use hand and power tools for crating, securing loads, and general material handling tasks.
Review and verify shipping papers for all inbound and outbound shipments.
Climb ladders to access truck beds and assist with loading/unloading activities.
Inspect incoming and outgoing products, including identifying damage, weighing rolls, and staging materials.
Build, repair, and maintain roll crates using carpentry tools and techniques.
Measure rolls accurately using a diameter tape and carpenter’s tape.
Complete required paperwork and basic computer entries for shipping and receiving documentation.
Perform general maintenance, housekeeping, painting, and other tasks as assigned by supervision.
Follow all plant safety, environmental, and operational guidelines.
Work independently or with minimal supervision while maintaining safe work practices.
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and material‑handling equipment (training provided as needed).
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and product handling.
Ability to follow instructions and work safely with or without direct supervision.
