Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Bookkeeper & Office Manager on behalf of our client, a specialized equipment sales, service, and rental company located in Burnside.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining bookkeeping with office administration in a collaborative, hands-on environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business while helping ensure financial and administrative processes run smoothly.
What you’ll be doing:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records
- Complete monthly and quarterly CRA remittances
- Perform bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping tasks
- Assist with invoicing, quotes, purchase orders, and inventory tracking
- Maintain organized financial and administrative records
- Support scheduling and day-to-day office coordination
- Complete paperwork and documentation to support business operations
- Provide general administrative support to the team as needed
- Communicate with internal staff and customers to support excellent service
- Help maintain efficient office workflows in a fast-paced environment
What we’re looking for:
- Previous Bookkeeping experience
- Experience with full-cycle bookkeeping is considered an asset
- Strong computer skills, including experience using Sage 50
- Experience processing payroll and completing CRA remittances
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bookkeeping or accounting education is considered an asset
