The Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

• 1st shift: 6/6:30AM-2:30/3PM Monday-Friday
• Clean background 
• Clean drug screen

Set up and operate press machines according to job specifications and production schedules.

o    Operate two story pneumatic press with loading non-woven discs onto roller shafts.

·         Operate safe single die cutting machine to cut out parts of specified size and shape from non-woven materials. 

o    Position one or more cutting dies on material or clamps dies to head of machine and position material under dies to ensure maximum utilization of material.

·         Plan machining operations by studying work orders, blueprints, drawings, specifications, materials, machining parameters, and interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.

·         Perform basic machining math including fractional / decimal conversion, calculating dimensions and tolerances.

·         Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and product quality.

·         Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.

·         Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools.

·         Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies.

·         Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

·         Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

·         Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

·         Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
