1st Shift Hose Assembler

 

Our client in Rockford, a leader in custom hydraulic systems and connections, is looking to add a Hose Assembler to their growing team. This role is responsible for building and assembling hydraulic hose assemblies used in fluid conveyance systems for heavy equipment and industrial applications. Hours for this position are M-F 7AM-3:30PM. Pay is $17-$17.50 per hour. This candidate needs to be flexible, reliable, and a hard-worker.  Job Responsibilities: 

• Assemble hydraulic hose assemblies according to work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Measure and cut hydraulic hoses to the correct length using specialized cutting equipment.
• Install fittings and connectors on hoses and operate crimping machines to secure connections.
• Inspect completed hose assemblies to ensure they meet quality, pressure, and safety standards.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be able to accurately read and use a tape measure
• Must be flexible
• Frequent lifting up to 50lbs required
• Forklift experience required
