Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Range: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
Our busy Cardiac Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty environment. This role supports physicians and clinical staff in providing high-quality cardiovascular care while ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

• Prepare patients for cardiac examinations and procedures

• Assist physicians with clinical procedures as needed

• Perform EKGs and other basic cardiac-related clinical tasks (preferred)

• Accurately document patient information in the EWC electronic medical record (EMR) system

• Manage patient flow and ensure timely room turnover

• Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with patient coordination

• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and clinical supplies

• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience required

• Experience in a cardiology or specialty clinic preferred

• Familiarity with EWC EMR strongly preferred

• Strong clinical and organizational skills

• Excellent patient communication and customer service skills

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
