Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Compressor Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial air compressors and related equipment. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and experience working with rotary screw, reciprocating, and other compressed air systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and repair industrial air compressors and compressed air systems

• Perform preventive maintenance on compressors, dryers, filters, and related equipment

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete repairs

• Conduct system performance tests and leak detection

• Replace components such as valves, motors, belts, filters, and sensors

• Maintain service records and report findings

• Ensure all work follows safety and company procedures

• Communicate with customers regarding equipment condition and recommended repairs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (technical training preferred)

• 2+ years experience working on air compressors or similar mechanical equipment

• Knowledge of rotary screw and reciprocating compressors

• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, controls, sensors)

• Ability to read technical manuals and wiring diagrams

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in industrial environments

Preferred Skills

• EPA certification (if refrigeration dryers are involved)

• Field service experience
