Job Description:
The Lab Technician will support environmental and chemical testing processes within a professional laboratory setting. This role focuses heavily on PFAS water testing using LC-MS/MS technology while also assisting with the preparation and analysis of cannabis, psilocybin, environmental samples, and surface wipes for substances such as meth and fentanyl. The technician will operate laboratory equipment, prepare samples, conduct analytical testing, and perform quality control procedures to ensure reliable results. Maintaining an organized workspace and following strict safety and quality protocols are essential to success in this role.

Responsibilities for the job include:
• Perform PFAS water testing using LC-MS/MS instrumentation
• Prepare and analyze environmental, cannabis, psilocybin, and surface wipe samples
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including LC-MS/MS and GC-MS systems
• Conduct sample preparation, extraction, and analytical testing procedures
• Perform and document quality control procedures to ensure accurate results
• Maintain organized laboratory workspaces and follow strict safety protocols
• Record, analyze, and report laboratory results accurately
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient and consistent lab operations

Experience and Skills Required:
• Strong understanding of Quality Control and analytical testing processes
• Experience operating laboratory instrumentation and maintaining equipment
• Familiarity with LC-MS/MS and GC-MS systems
• Solid general laboratory skills and sample preparation techniques
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative laboratory environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
• Prior experience in environmental testing or related laboratory industries is a plus

Work Schedule:
Monday – 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Tuesday – 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Wednesday – 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Thursday – 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
Friday – 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
