Sales & Service Technician – First Aid & Fire Extinguishers (Part-Time)

Pay: Starts at $15/hr, then $18/hr after evaluation period + 10% commission on profit
Hours: 25–30 hours/week (Flexible scheduling between 8am–5pm, Mon–Thurs)
Location: Route includes Parowan → Kanarraville; occasional Minersville travel

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Sales & Service Technician to join our team, focusing on first aid product sales, fire extinguisher sales, and fire extinguisher maintenance/refill services. This is a physically active position that involves visiting customer locations, performing basic service work, and installing/rehanging fire extinguishers.

You will be trained directly by our lead technician, riding along for the first 1–2 months until fully comfortable with the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell first aid supplies and fire extinguishers to existing and new customers
• Perform maintenance, refills, and safety checks on fire extinguishers
• Hang and mount fire extinguishers on walls
• Drive a service route from Parowan to Kanarraville, with occasional Minersville trips
• Maintain accurate service records
• Provide friendly, professional customer service

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle (gas reimbursed)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willing to get dirty—this job involves physical, hands-on work
• Must be comfortable with basic hand tools (all tools provided)

Work Environment & Dress Code

• Business modest: T-shirt and jeans are acceptable
• This is a service-oriented job; expect some dirty or dusty environments
• Part-time, 25–30 hours per week with flexibility within 8am–5pm, Monday–Thursday

Compensation

• Starting pay during evaluation period
• After evaluation hire: $18/hr + 10% commission on profit
• Mileage/gas reimbursement for required travel
