IT Associate 
Full-Time | Direct Hire | $68,000–$70,000
 
Our client in Lake Forest is seeking an IT Associate to service as the primary on-site IT resource. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, customer-focused, and excited about growing into a broader technical path. You will support JD Edwards (JDE), ensure data integrity for financial reporting, troubleshoot Level 1 issues, and provide hands-on hardware support. 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the on-site IT point of contact for the Americas region.
  • Support JD Edwards (JDE) applications; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data integrity issues.
  • Perform data cleanup to support accurate financial reporting and month-end close.
  • Manage and resolve Level 1 support tickets, ensuring timely and customer-friendly communication.
  • Audit reports to identify data maintenance issues requiring attention.
  • Challenge and validate business requests to ensure accuracy and alignment with system standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the Controller and business users to understand issues and support financial processes.
  • Set up, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and networked hardware (laptops, monitors, printers, etc.).
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers responsible for maintaining IT hardware at the Lake Forest office.
  • Work at the intersection of Master Data, business processes, application configuration, BI reporting, and on-site infrastructure.
  • Participate in remote training sessions with global IT teams, including morning calls with the Netherlands.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills with a warm, positive, and customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Curious, analytical, and fulfilled by helping others solve problems.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience managing a ticket queue in systems such as TopDesk (Level 1) or DevOps (Level 2) preferred.
  • Interest in long-term IT career growth and internal advancement.
  • Hands-on comfort with hardware setup and troubleshooting
  • Hybrid Schedule: After training, work from home 2 days per week, with flexibility to adjust based on business needs.
  • Hours: Standard business hours.
