A growing manufacturing company in DeForest, WI is hiring General Labor/Press Operator Assistants to support production operations. As a Press Operator Assistant, you will support the press operator and production team by helping keep machines running efficiently, preparing materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role provides hands-on manufacturing experience and an opportunity to learn specialized production equipment. Pay

  • Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour

  • Increase to $24.00 per hour once hired on by the company

 

Schedule

  • 1st and 2nd shift rotation – 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm (2 weeks on 1st then 2 weeks on 2nd)

     

  • 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am

Employees rotate every two weeks between 1st and 2nd shift. Overtime shifts every other Saturday is required.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist press operators with machine setup and operation

  • Change out production materials such as rolls and ink

  • Prepare materials for production runs

  • Support machine operators during production processes

  • Monitor equipment and assist with production flow

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and general housekeeping

  • Follow all safety policies and quality standards

  • Perform additional general labor and production tasks as needed

 

Advancement Opportunities

All employees start as General Labor – Press Operator Assistants for the first six months, regardless of previous experience. After six months, employees are eligible to apply for open positions within the company, creating opportunities for advancement into higher-level manufacturing roles.
