Key Responsibilities:

Inspect raw and processed shrimp products to ensure quality, freshness, and compliance with food safety standards

Monitor production lines to verify proper handling, processing, and packaging procedures

Conduct routine quality checks, including temperature monitoring, weight verification, and visual inspections

Ensure compliance with HACCP, sanitation, and seafood safety regulations

Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality control records

Identify quality or safety issues and communicate findings to supervisors and production staff

Assist with internal audits, sanitation checks, and corrective action procedures

Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of seafood products

Qualifications:

Previous experience in food safety, quality assurance, or seafood processing preferred

Knowledge of HACCP, FDA, and seafood safety regulations is a plus

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects

Ability to work in a cold, wet processing environment

Ability to stand for long periods and work on the production floor

Basic computer and documentation skills

Schedule:
Full-time position; schedule may include early mornings or weekends depending on production needs.
