Powder Coat Painter/ Sandblaster

Salary: $15/hr - $30/hr DOE

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Powder Coat Painter to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal and other surfaces using powder coating techniques. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality, durable finishes on industrial parts and equipment, meeting both visual and functional specifications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying pretreatment chemicals or blasting as needed.

• Operate spray guns and powder coating equipment to apply powder coating in accordance with required specifications and thickness.

• Set up and maintain coating booths, ovens, and curing systems.

• Hang, rack, and un-rack parts for coating and curing.

• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, including checking for coverage, color consistency, and surface smoothness.

• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
