Contents Technician

Overview

Seeking a dependable, hands-on Contents Technician to support restoration projects involving fire, water, and other property damage. This role involves packing, transporting, cleaning, and restoring customers’ belongings using specialized tools and techniques. Ideal for someone who enjoys physical, impactful work and contributing to a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack, transport, clean, and restore customer contents using tools and processes such as ultrasonic cleaning, specialized washing systems, and odor-removal treatments
• Load and maintain equipment, supplies, and work vehicles
• Prepare job sites, set up staging areas, and follow safety protocols
• Communicate with team leads and technicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Perform daily cleanup and ensure job sites are left organized and professional

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication; basic computer and math skills
• Experience in cleaning or restoration preferred
• High school diploma or GED
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., IICRC) are a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Comfortable with ladders, confined spaces, extended standing/walking, and repetitive physical tasks
• Able to work with cleaning chemicals
• Must pass a background check

Compensation

• Starting at $17/hr, with overtime opportunities
• Merit-based pay increases
• Automatic $1/hr raise after 6-month probation period
