Job Overview:

 

Express Employment is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for a Break Picker position in a warehouse environment. This role involves floor-level order picking of items that are less than full case quantities. Candidates must be comfortable with physical work including standing, walking, pushing carts, and lifting boxes and totes throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick orders from floor-level inventory locations using handheld scanners and tablets

• Place picked items into totes on a rolling cart

• Safely maneuver rolling carts that require heavy lifting through out the work day.

• Lift totes off carts and deliver them to the manifest station for processing

• Work closely with manifest and packing teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment

• Rotate between picking, manifest, and packing duties as needed

• Use computers and warehouse systems to assist with order processing

Manifest Responsibilities:

• Receive totes from pickers

• Perform detailed quality checks comparing items in totes to shipping labels

• Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, and required documentation

• Ensure orders are correctly prepared before being sent to the packing department

• Frequent use of hands to handle objects, tools, and controls

• Reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, and crouching

• Lifting, moving, and manipulating items that require heavy lifting.

• Pushing and maneuvering loaded carts

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment

• Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception

Pay: $17.00

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
