CNC Operator

Located in Tualatin, OR

Salary: $20.50

A family-oriented company is looking to add a CNC Operator to its team. While experience with loading/unloading CNC's is preferred, experience in a metal shop, measuring with micrometers and calipers is qualifying experience. This is a position for a highly motivated individual who is looking for a long-term opportunity with a company who provides great benefits upon hire.

 

Pay: $20.50/hour to start, if you have prior CNC experience once converted there will be a wage adjustment to reflect capability.

Schedule: Day Shift 5AM-3:30PM T-F

What you’ll be doing:

• Loading and unloading CNC's and training on how to perform setups and grow to become an independent CNC Machinist.
• Will be operating Mazak – horizontal and vertical mills, Mori and Leadwell

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience with CNC Machining/Set-Up preferred but not required
• Experience using Fanuc and Mazak controls preferred
• Willing to learn basic G&M code knowledge
• Emphasis on quality control and inspection - attention to detail
• Willing to learn how to understand and editing of programs
• Willing to learn Machine tool setup
• Experience working with metal parts required
• Willing to work OT
• Solid Math Skills required
• Will need to be able to read prints and follow GD&T tolerance
• Utilized blueprints, manuals and drawings
• Willing to learn the ability to operate machine minimal supervision
• Desire to work as part of team
• Safety focused, with a commitment to utilizing PPE and reporting hazards
