Salary: $17.00/HR + $1 shift premium
Machine Operator Job Summary:
A Sparta-based branch of a local furniture manufacturer is looking to add machine operators to their growing team on 2nd shift. Successful candidates will have experience in cutoff saws, punch presses, hydraulic presses, forming machines, drilling machines, bending machines, robotic welders.
Machine Operator Job Requirements:
- Operate different metal fabricating machines (cutoff saws, punch presses, hydraulic presses, forming machines, drilling machines, bending machines, robotic welders)
- Read/interpret blueprints
- Utilize measuring tools with accuracy
- Flexibility to operate other machinery and assist in project completion.
Schedule:
3rd shift, Sunday-Thursday, 10:00pm-6:00am + overtime as necessary
Pay: $17.00/HR + $1 shift premium
Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Ability to cut, shape, and bend metal plates, tubes, and other various parts.
- 2 years minimum experience in a metal fabrication facility
- Experience in fabrication setting & willingness to operate other machinery as trained/required
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Actual experience in a fast-paced metal fabrication facility
