Inventory Control Clerk
Location: Shawnee, KS
Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk for a warehouse facility in Shawnee, KS. This role is essential for maintaining accurate inventory, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring products are available to meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records

• Physically count products and verify quantities in the system

• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

• Use RF scanners to track and manage inventory

• Review and correct negative inventory reports

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve stock location issues

• Assist with order processing and order dropping functions as needed

• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to determine freight carriers

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and report unsafe conditions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Previous inventory control or warehouse experience preferred

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

• Strong attention to detail and math skills

• 10-key experience preferred

• Experience with JDE or other warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus

• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a warehouse environment

• Ability to operate or become certified on an Order Picker / Cherry Picker

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
