Heavy Production Associate – Food Manufacturing

Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Occasional Saturdays (typically 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM)

Company Overview

Our client is a food manufacturer producing soups, dressings, dips, and compound butters distributed to high-end restaurants. This is a hands-on production role with opportunities to learn multiple departments and advance once hired full-time.

Job Summary

The Heavy Production Associate will work in various production cells handling ingredients, batching, cooking, and packaging. This role requires regular heavy lifting and the ability to work in temperature-controlled environments. The client is willing to train motivated, dependable individuals with the right attitude.

Production Areas (3 Cells)

• Hot Side Cooking & Bagging

• Cold Side Cooking & Bagging

• Compound Butter Department

  • Frequent walking in and out of freezer areas

  • Heavy lifting required

  • Temperature range: approximately 61–65°F

Responsibilities

• Lift and handle ingredient bags up to 50 lbs

• Assist with cooking, batching, and bagging processes

• Operate pallet jack

• Measure ingredients accurately (basic math skills helpful)

• Cross-train in multiple departments

• Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards

• Follow production schedules and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently

• Dependable, trainable, and positive attitude

• Mechanical aptitude is a plus (machine operation training provided)

• Basic math skills for measuring ingredients

• Previous food manufacturing or manufacturing experience preferred but not required

• Spanish-speaking candidates welcome

Compensation & Advancement
