Roller Core Production Technician – Eureka, MO

⭐ Position Overview

The Roller Core Production Technician is responsible for preparing roller cores for the casting process by removing worn material, cleaning surfaces, performing basic lathe operations, and following detailed production steps. No previous lathe experience is required—we provide full training.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Remove worn urethane or rubber from roller cores using lathe operations.
• Secure roller bodies between centers using hoists and drive dogs.
• Strip remaining material with tool bits and hand tools.
• Grind roller cores to bare metal, including end plates.
• Measure outside diameter and accurately record customer and roller specifications.
• Clean roller surfaces prior to priming.
• Apply primer evenly across the roller face.
• Wrap, tag, and rack rollers for rework or next production stages.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, lubrication, and proper function.
• Keep work areas safe, organized, and free of debris.

🎓 Experience

• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
• Manufacturing or shop experience helpful but not required
• Lathe familiarity is a plus but not necessary—full training provided
