Job Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. This hands-on role involves preparing and applying coatings to machinery, equipment, structural steel, and other industrial surfaces. The goal is to protect materials from corrosion, enhance durability, and meet both functional and aesthetic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, power-washing, or applying primers

• Mix and match paints and coatings to meet job specifications

• Apply paints using sprayers, rollers, brushes, or electrostatic equipment

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions

• Set up and maintain painting equipment and workstations

• Inspect finished surfaces for uniformity and quality

• Perform minor surface repairs before painting

• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work completed

• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear

• Work in confined spaces or at elevated heights as needed

• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in industrial painting techniques (spray, brush, roller, etc.)

• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents

• Knowledge of coatings like epoxy, enamel, and polyurethane

• Familiarity with surface prep methods (sanding, blasting, chemical etching)

• Experience with painting tools (viscosity cups, thickness gauges, gloss meters)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
