Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role
We are seeking a highly reliable, self‑directed Administrative Assistant who thrives in a quiet, focused office environment and can take ownership of a wide range of administrative, clerical, and office assistant duties. This position requires someone who is resourceful, independent, and able to hit the ground running with minimal training. The ideal candidate will be comfortable supporting multiple departments, shifting priorities, and handling tasks that evolve over time.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being the go‑to assistant, secretary, or office clerk for a variety of needs and who takes pride in being dependable, organized, and proactive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative assistance to multiple departments, including accounting and human resources
- Assist with AP posting approximately one week per month
- Offer light IT support and basic troubleshooting for common office technology issues.
- Order and maintain office supplies and inventory.
- Answer and route general phone calls in a professional manner.
- Support purchasing activities and general office operations.
- Serve as a flexible “floater," stepping in wherever needed.
- Perform various clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in an administrative assistant, office assistant, secretary, personal assistant, office clerk, or related role.
- Previous construction industry experience is highly preferred but not required.
- Experience with Sage preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and minimal need for repeated instruction.
- Strong initiative and problem‑solving skills—someone who exhausts their own resources before seeking help.
- Tech‑savvy and comfortable troubleshooting basic IT issues.
- Professional, dependable, and trustworthy—someone the team can count on.
- Comfortable working in a quiet, low‑chatter office environment.
