PROCESS TECHNICIAN – $27-$33/hr

 

We're looking for a hands-on Process Technician to support our client's manufacturing facility. You'll work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to enhance equipment performance, resolve technical challenges, and ensure quality and industry standards are met.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Support: Design and implement programs for equipment in assigned areas. Train operators and provide ongoing technical support. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and product-related challenges, with direct customer communication when required. Revise assembly documentation for continuous improvement. Coordinate with equipment manufacturers on technical issues and collaborate with the Maintenance team on equipment maintenance tasks. Monitor and report departmental goals, assist with new equipment and process implementation, and analyze process data to recommend improvement projects. Maintain compliance with SFE and customer quality systems and investigate and resolve corrective actions in areas of expertise.

Systems: Use software tools for root cause and trend analysis, create and maintain QMS procedures, and complete work orders and repair orders in maintenance tracking software.

General: Apply continuous improvement principles to reduce waste and follow all safety, ESD, and shopfloor guidelines.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

One or more years of relevant experience. Must be a team player with strong collaboration skills, proficient in data analysis and root cause problem-solving, and able to interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and assembly specs. Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of applicable standards such as J-STD-001, AS9100, and NADCAP required.

 

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Familiar with problem-solving techniques and possesses strong computer skills.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Degree or background in an engineering-related discipline. Three or more years of electronics assembly experience. SMT and PTH soldering expertise. Ability to read equipment schematics. Track record of process improvements and defect reduction.
