Stainless Steel TIG Welder - CONTRACT through May 2026

Located in Canby, OR

Salary: $23 - $26/hr. DOE

A client of ours in Canby is looking to add a TIG Welder to their team. The ideal candidate for this role would have some experience with some TIG Welding or working with Stainless steel tubing. #1939ST

This is a CONTRACT through the end of May!

Duties:

• TIG welding and sheet metal manufacturing, including grinding and finishing 049-065
• TIG welding stainless steel parts & tubing
• Fitting/Wirefeed Skills
• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable materials by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices
• Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine the appropriate welding process
• Interpret weld symbols
• Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• No certification is required but must be able to pass the TIG welding test.
• Experience with stainless steel TIG welding (2+ years preferred)
• Sheet metal experience preferred.
• Excellent work ethic and dependability.
• Strong desire to learn and grow.
• Steel toed boots are REQUIRED for the job as well as a welding hood

 

Pay: $23 - $26/hr. DOE

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6 AM – 2:30 PM, OT Available
