Driver Helper

Located in Rogers, AR

Driver Helper assists the delivery driver with the safe and efficient loading, transport, and unloading of building materials to customer locations and job sites. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist driver with loading and unloading building materials such as lumber, drywall, cement, and roofing supplies.
• Ensure materials are properly secured and handled with care to prevent damage.
• Help navigate to job sites and communicate with customers upon arrival.
• Carry and deliver materials to designated areas on-site, which may include rooftops or multi-story buildings.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and assist in ensuring DOT compliance.
• Represent the company professionally during all customer interactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 80 lbs or more).

• Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions closely.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Prior experience in construction or material handling is a plus but not required.
