Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals – Forest Lake is seeking skilled and motivated Line Cook in Columbus, MN. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook items for both hot and cold Asian cuisine lines.

• Complete prep work including salads, slicing meats, sandwich prep, and breading food items.

• Check and maintain inventory in freezers and refrigerators.

• Work closely with the Chef to maintain kitchen standards and product consistency.

• Set up buffets and service lines.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

• Assist and help train other kitchen employees as needed.

• Perform line prep and work the line during service.

Qualifications

• Strong knife skills and ability to produce consistent, high-quality food.

• Minimum 2 years of line cooking experience required.

• Flexible, hardworking, and willing to learn new tasks.

• Able to follow direction from the Chef and Supervisors.

• Culinary student with 1–2 years of kitchen or prep experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly.

• Comfortable standing, moving, and working in a busy kitchen environment.
