Software Design Engineer | Direct Hire

Location: Middletown, CT

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm

Pay rate: $75,000-100,000

Software:

LabVIEW software and National Instruments hardware

• Acts as technical reference for the customer and the main suppliers in relation to area of expertise
• Review all technical information (specifications, programs, manuals, etc.) and make sure all specifications are met for each job
• Perform installation and troubleshooting remotely and at customer’s facilities
• Provide internal IT and server support as needed

Requirements:

• Degree Engineering or Computer Science with strong programming background
• Must be able to travel both domestically and internationally

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments, Visual Basic, and C++
• Experience integrating instrumentation sensors and Analog/Digital I/O (temperature, pressure, speed, vibration, etc.)
• Experience and understanding of calibration and metrology
• Knowledge of gas turbine/aircraft engine operation
• Experience in PLC integration and testing
• Experience in system engineering and/or test environments
