Mechanical/Electrical Technician

Salary: $55,000-75,000

Mechanical/Electrical Technician | Direct Hire

Location: Middletown, CT

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm

Pay rate: $55,000-75,000

Requirements:

• Mechanical Assembly of precision machines using hand and power tools
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics
• Basic measurement tools such as micrometers, dial indicators calipers and depth gauges
• Machine drive shaft and coupling alignment
• Metal fabrication experience
• Knowledge of plumbing for water, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Assembly of precision mechanisms such as test stands, dynamometers, pumps and motors

Qualifications:

• Finishing/Painting experience preferred
• Welding experience preferred
• Metal fabrication experience preferred
• Light machining using lathe, bridgeport, and surface grinder preferred
• 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role
