1st shift Maintenance Technician

Located in San Marcos, CA

Salary: $20hr

General Function: Responsible for maintaining buildings and grounds in orderly and safe condition.  Performs repairs, cleaning, facility set up, moving of donations, furniture and equipment, upkeep of grounds, and other maintenance duties.

Job Tasks:

• Maintain grounds, using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Utilize maintenance request database.
• Attend to janitorial needs on the premises.
• Assist with pick up of donations and supplies as needed.
• Pick up/purchase supplies as approved by supervisor in response to maintenance requests.
• Repair broken items.
• Light plastering, painting and dry wall repair.
• Clean and repair screens and windows.
• Inspect sprinkler, heating and air conditioning systems and report to supervisor for regular service and repair.
• Implement preventive plan to control insects and rodents.
• Complete vehicle inspections and recommend maintenance and repair.
• Perform walk-thru and propose repair needs to supervisor for approval.
• Maintain required facilities and maintenance logs for supervisor review.
• Communicate with and monitor vendors during on-site visits/work.
• Request quotes as needed from vendors.
• Perform other reasonable tasks as requested. 

 

Schedule: M-F, must be open for OT/7:30am-4pm
