Shipping Associate

Located in Cedar Rapids, IA

Salary: $18-19/hour

Our client in Cedar Rapids is looking for a Shipping Associate to join their warehouse team.
This role is primarily responsible for processing daily shipments and supporting order fulfillment. The majority of the day will be spent entering UPS/FedEx shipping requests on a computer, picking parts, packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and process UPS/FedEx shipping requests using shipping software and ERP systems
• Pick parts from designated locations per sales orders
• Package, label, and stage outgoing shipments accurately
• Create and manage shipping documents such as labels, packing slips, and BOLs
• Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and report discrepancies
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and basic inventory movement as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized shipping and warehouse area
• Follow safety procedures and support warehouse organization efforts

 

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, or order fulfillment experience preferred
• Comfortable using a computer for shipping software and data entry
• Ability to read work instructions and match part numbers accurately
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed and stand/walk throughout shift
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when business demands

 

Hours

• 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Monday – Friday

 

Pay

• $18.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on experience)
