Solar Installer – Job Description

 

General Duties
Prepare and clean job sites prior to installation.
Assist with lifting, positioning, and installing solar panels.
Load, transport, and organize materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
Secure panels using clamps, bolts, screws, and mounting hardware.
Operate hand and power tools including levels, power drills, grinders, saws, pressure washers, and water spraying equipment.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment by disposing of debris and waste in designated bins or dumpsters.
Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions while working independently or as part of a team.

 

Physical Requirements
Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Frequent use of hand and power tools.
Ability to repeatedly perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, gripping, twisting, reaching, bending, stacking, climbing, and turning.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

 

Safety Requirements
Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and closed-toe work boots.
Must follow all job site safety guidelines and protocols.
