Location: Galveston , TX
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Meets and greets prospective residents.
• Shows PH ready units to potential residents.
• Conducts applicant briefings, establishes eligibility, accepts application paperwork and required documentation, and responds to client inquiries.
• Prepares and presents lease agreements and collects specified rents and deposits, and coordinates move-ins.
• Strives for 100% occupancy through retention of existing residents, leasing current availability and pre-leasing of future availability.
• Prepares vacancy and occupancy reports and turnover schedules, etc. for internal use and external agency compliance.
• Communicates and interacts with applicants individually or in groups as required.
• Meets regularly with Housing Director to ensure departmental consistency.
• Assures activities are in compliance with all laws, policies, regulations and goals.
• Supports the relationship between GHA and the constituent population by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with clients, visitors, and GHA staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration or a related field; or four (4) years of related program and management experience, including two (2) years’ experience in the public sector; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid DL
