Salary: $18-26/hr BOE

Now hiring a Yard Laborer / Material Handler for a growing equipment rental company in Cottage Grove, WI. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a shop and outdoor yard environment and learn to operate large equipment — including a heavy-duty forklift.

If you’re dependable, mechanically inclined, and willing to take on new challenges, this could be the start of a long-term skilled trades career.

📍 Cottage Grove, WI
💲 $18–$26+ per hour (Based on Experience)
🕒 Monday–Friday | 7:00am–4:30pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Pull orders using a forklift and prepare equipment for customer pickup

• Inspect, clean, and check in returned rental equipment

• Maintain yard organization and inventory accuracy

• Move materials, hoses, racking, and generators throughout the yard

• Keep the yard and shop area clean and safe

• Assist in general shop duties as needed

Most work is performed outdoors in the yard. A heated shop is available for breaks and indoor tasks.

Qualifications:

• Previous general labor, yard, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred

• Forklift experience highly preferred 

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new equipment

• Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials

• Dependable and safety-focused
