Our client in Willoughby, OH is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with strong CMM programming and visual inspection system experience to join our team. Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year (based on experience)
Full-Time | Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Program and operate MCOSMOS CMM software (similar to PC-DMIS)

• Program and operate Keyence Visual Inspection Systems

• Perform dimensional inspections and first article inspections (FAI)

• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings

• Develop and maintain inspection programs and documentation

• Support production with quality troubleshooting and root cause analysis

• Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure compliance with customer and ISO quality standards

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience programming and operating:

  • Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)

  • Keyence Vision Inspection Systems

• Experience with MCOSMOS (or similar software such as PC-DMIS)

• Strong understanding of GD&T

• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings

• Experience in a manufacturing environment required

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Preferred:

• ISO experience

• Experience with first article and PPAP documentation

• Continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing exposure
