Blanking Improvement Coordinator

Job Description:

Express Employment Professionals of Clarksville is currently seeking reliable and industrious candidates for a Blanking Improvement Coordinator position with a Local Manufacturer of Packaging. This position will pay $21.32 per hour, and the schedule consists of 8-hour M-F assignment, however, employees must be willing to work alternate schedule if needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead systematic identification of waste using Lean tools such as value stream mapping, Gemba walks, time studies, and root cause analysis
• Develop and execute waste reduction projects targeting scrap, rework, downtime, material loss, and excess inventory
• Train employees on Lean concepts and waste awareness
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Complies with all Company Safety rules and Quality policies and protocols at all times.
• Good attitude, performance, and attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED/ associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience within the Poly Cup Department
• Demonstrates well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Demonstrates organizational skills and highly detail oriented
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
• Able to work in various temperatures and humidity levels
• Capable of complying with all Safety requirements including the use of PPE: hearing protection, safety glasses and foot protection
