Position Summary:The Die Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining die cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts according to customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Set up and operate die cutting machines according to work orders and production schedules
Install and align dies, plates, and cutting tools
Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cuts and proper material alignment
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and defects
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Previous die cutting or machine operation experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or job specifications
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
High school diploma or GED preferred
