Position Summary:The Machine Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated equipment used in the production of wire harness assemblies. This role ensures quality, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate wire cutting, stripping, crimping, and termination machines
Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Measure and cut wires to specified lengths
Perform quality inspections using measuring tools and visual checks
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions
Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
Previous machine operation experience preferred
Manufacturing or wire harness experience a plus
Ability to read basic blueprints and follow detailed instructions
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs
Position Summary:The Assembler is responsible for assembling wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to specifications and quality standards. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to follow structured assembly processes.
Assemble wire harnesses using hand tools and small equipment
Crimp, strip, solder, and connect wires and terminals
Follow assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality
Label, bundle, and prepare completed harnesses for shipment
Maintain production quotas and quality standards
Keep workstations clean and organized
Assembly or production experience preferred
Experience with small hand tools
Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Ability to work in a repetitive, fast-paced environment
High school diploma or GED preferred
