Summary:Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery, equipment, and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
** Shift: 6am-6pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday **
Responsibilities:
Install, dismantle, and maintain equipment, including welders, VFDs, transformers, and bevellers.
Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on mechanical, electrical, and E&I systems.
Conduct inspections and ensure proper rigging and safe equipment operation.
Complete maintenance tasks such as plumbing, changing filters, and replacing lights.
Record downtime, repairs, and PMs in FIIX or other tracking systems.
Support EHS and continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow work instructions and identify needed parts for projects.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience/training).
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, including sensors and control components.
Proficient with power tools, welding equipment, and yard machinery.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and follow instructions.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments, including heights and extreme temperatures.
