A growing manufacturing company in Columbus, WI is looking to add Skilled Pouch Operators to their team on 2nd and 3rd shifts! This position plays a key role in the production and offers strong long-term career potential. If you have machine-operating experience—especially with packaging or converting equipment—this is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills with a reputable employer.
Pay: $20-25/hour (based on experience)
Shifts Available:
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00pm–11:00pm
• 3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00pm–7:00am
Job Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, and monitor equipment
• Ensure machines run efficiently and meet production output goals
• Perform job changeovers, adjustments, and minor mechanical troubleshooting
• Inspect materials and finished pouches for quality and consistency
• Read and follow job tickets, specifications, and production schedules
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment
Qualifications:
• Prior machine-operator experience required; pouch, bag, or converting experience strongly preferred
• Ability to perform basic mechanical adjustments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Reliability and willingness to maintain a steady production pace
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
