Plant Operator

Located in Wixom, MI

Salary: $18 per hour

The Company: 

We have partnered with a company that specializes in heavy-duty mats that are the safest in the industry and are all certified by the National Floor and Safety Institute.

Summary: 
We are looking for a Plant Operator who would be responsible for the following duties:

• Maintains the flow of mats and towels into the washers, dryers, and shelving units
• Loads and unloads mats and towels into the washers and dryers
• Operates the washer and dryers in accordance with the products’ washing requirements
• Roll the clean mats using the roller machine
• Places clean mats and towels back into their proper areas on the plant shelves
• Clean the appliances and plant area to ensure a clean, safe work environment for all employees
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Report machine breakdown to Plant Manager in a timely manner
• Drive responsibly
• Any other duties the company may assign to you from time to time

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the day
• Ability to climb, twist, bend, stoop, reach above shoulder level, and operate a motor vehicle continuously throughout the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds constantly throughout the day and up to 100 pounds frequently throughout the day unassisted

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 06:00 AM - 5:30 PM
