Senior Electrical Engineer | Direct Hire

Location: Middletown, CT

Pay range: $100,000-150,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced control systems for rotating aerospace subassemblies
• Program and integrate control platforms including LabVIEW and PLC systems
• Design and support regenerative systems utilizing variable frequency drives (VFDs) and electric motors rated 500 HP and above
• Select, integrate, and troubleshoot physical sensors (temperature, pressure, flow, force, etc.)
• Develop and support motor drive electronics and associated instrumentation
• Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting of control systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams
• Support documentation, technical reports, and compliance requirements
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship as needed

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) – Required
• Minimum 3–5 years of electrical engineering experience
• Experience with LabVIEW, PLCs, and discrete electronic instrumentation
• Strong knowledge of regenerative systems and high-power VFD-driven motor systems (500 HP+)
• Experience with physical sensor integration and motor drive electronics
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
