Urgently looking for 4 experienced welders!!

 

 

 

 

 $18+ per hour

 

 

5am-3pm  

 

Springville, Utah.

 

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of GTAW welding experience.
• Willing to learn to machine.
• A high school diploma or GED
• TIG, MIG and stick welding experience required
• Must be able to pass welding skills demonstration
• Able to use precision measuring instruments
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
• Able to define, evaluate, and discuss quality workmanship related to welding
• Ability to fabricate metal components and fixtures
• Must show a customer-service mindset for on-time delivery and quality work
• Must be able to explain processes and problems clearly so as to resolve problems in a group
• Demonstrated track record of reliable, dependable attendance;
• able to work overtime and weekends as required with little to short notice
  Previous weld certification(s) in corrosive resistant and heat resistant ferrous alloys, nickel-base alloys, cobalt-base alloys, aluminum alloys, and titanium alloys

Role Summary

 

Plan and lay out work from blueprints and manufacturers’ specification sheets, using shop math and measuring instruments
Select the appropriate welding method, such as TIG, MIG or stick using applicable weld procedure
Meet production goals relating to efficiency, schedules, and scrap
Collaborate with machinists and assemblers on the team to discuss and solve problems relating to repairs and equipment.
Will take on machining tasks: manual lathes, CNC.
Apply an understanding of the process flow of documents, materials, and parts through the repair manufacturing process
Clean and maintain machines and tools, and keep an organized workspace
Maintain a safe workplace by wearing PPE, following procedures and rules, and completing training
Standing for long times required, repetitive arm motions, frequent lifting with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
