Chemical Blender Associate

Located in Hayward, CA

Salary: $23.00-$24.24

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate blending and processing equipment so that product meets customer product and mix instructions.
• Fill containers, bulk storage tanks, totes, drums, and palls, labeling containers to meet DOT regulations, and follow and make pack ticket instructions. 
• Follow all safety rules and company policies

Skills & Experience Required:

• Knowledge of blending chemicals, resins and mixing batches.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience required in a similar role.
• Must have knowledge of possible chemical reactions, and maintain 5-S compliance safe and clean environment

Education:

• HS Diploma or GED

Equipment Used:

• Operate a forklift to move materials from one to department to another.

Physical Requirements:

• Clean up duties; sweeping, squeegee floors, etc.

Qualities Preferred:

• Multi task- making multiple batches at the same time and/or fill containers, help trainer new blenders as required.
