We are seeking a detail oriented Order Handler to support the execution and tracking of customer orders. This administrative role is responsible for processing incoming orders, change orders, and purchase orders while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely handling throughout the order lifecycle
Position Summary
The Order Handler manages assigned orders from entry through completion. This role reviews new orders for compliance, transfers orders through internal ERP systems, tracks progress, and documents order status and delays. The position works closely with the Order Manager and supports daily administrative and reporting needs
Key Responsibilities
Execute incoming orders and change orders
Prepare and submit purchase orders
Review new orders for accuracy and compliance
Enter and transfer orders within ERP systems
Ensure orders are processed within established time standards
Track order communications and maintain accurate status updates
Support additional administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, reporting, and internal communications as assigned
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks across concurrent projects
Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP systems
Strong technical aptitude with interest in understanding products and processes
Mechanical background or aptitude preferred
Education and Experience
High school diploma required
Associate degree in Business Administration or Mechanical Engineering preferred
