Plant Manager – Food Manufacturing

Salary: $65,000–$75,000 annually depending on experience (salary, bi-weekly pay)

Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday day shift, with weekend work as needed

Location: Onsite in Belleview, FL

Environment: Non–climate-controlled production & warehouse

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground Plant Manager to lead daily operations within our food production facility. This leader will work closely with a team of approximately 10 plant staff and receive support and direction from other members of the plant leadership team. Candidates must have food manufacturing experience and strong leadership capability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Monitor production output, workflow, and quality standards.

• Lead, train, and support plant staff; foster strong communication and teamwork.

• Enforce food safety, environmental, and facility safety requirements.

• Support plant mechanic; assist with troubleshooting as needed.

• Record production and operational data using computer systems.

• Participate in problem-solving and continuous-improvement efforts.

• Oversee warehouse operations and support inventory accuracy.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in food manufacturing (required).

• Strong leadership skills; confident managing a team.

•Plant operation experience

Familiarity with HACCP or food safety programs.

• Experience with warehouse and production operations.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with maintenance.

• Ability to work in non–climate-controlled conditions.

• Computer literacy for data entry and reporting.

• Availability for weekend work when needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bilingual English/Spanish.
